Sweet Tooth.

It happened again. You’re sweet tooth has kicked into high gear and it all started with that first bag of Halloween candy. I’m sure we all had our fair share of Snickers and Skittles over the weekend and there is no shame in that. However, Halloween is just the tipping point of indulging into other seasonal goodies.

There is no avoiding it – as we quickly enter the holiday season, we are all tempted (and won over) with the seasons tasty treats. Pumpkin pies, broccoli-cheddar casseroles, and grandma’s famous mac-n-cheese. You name it, it will be there. And like we said, there is no shame in taking advantage of the season. With that being said, we do encourage you to keep up your fitness routine throughout the holiday months.

It’s no secret that the holidays are busy times. The kids are out of school, the family is coming to visit, and you’re fighting the crowd at the mall. But it’s important to take time out of your busy schedule to take care of your body. It’s easy to say “I will do it tomorrow” or even “I will pick back up after the holidays.” But why “pick back up” when you can take care of yourself today?

Iron Butterfly Pilates Studio encourages you to keep up your normal fitness routine throughout the holiday season. Please keep up with our schedule via ironbutterflypilates.com/service-rates/group-classes/ to schedule your workouts. And be sure to talk with your instructor about making time to schedule private pilates sessions.

Going out of town? Look back at our blog “Rain, Rain, Go Away” to get ideas for workouts you can do at home. You might also want to keep these in mind if you’re not leaving town but only have a few minutes to yourself that day.

Happy Fall y’all! We look forward to seeing everyone’s smiling faces at the studio throughout the holidays! And remember, find a way to set time aside for yourself and for your body!
