Mat Class – All levels welcome! This is the perfect workshop for those who want to experience Pilates for the first time or those who are looking for a challenge. Each Mat class will explore the exercises Joe Pilates provided us and ways to go deeper. Expect to stretch and strengthen your entire  body with low impact moves that are accessible to everyone.

All About that Thass – During this workshop, you will learn exercises that connect you to your Thass® (where your leg meets your butt). Learn how to see if it’s working and how to use it in some of the most difficult exercises. We will explore on the Mat, Cadillac, Reformer and more. For Pilates lovers this will help you ditch that hip click and stop overusing your hip flexors! Teachers learn useful exercises to help a client or entire class connect to their bodies and finally enjoy Roll Ups, Teasers and so much more. (Receive 2 NPCP CECs.)

Erin’s Aging & Fall Reduction Workshop

November 12th, 1:00pm -12:30pm/ $45

Register by emailing info@ironbutterflypilates.com

Aging is inevitable, but losing balance doesn’t have to be. Discover how Pilates can help you move with greater confidence, prevent falls, and stay active and independent for years to come with Dr. Erin Toy!

As we age, natural changes in vision, inner ear function, strength, and body awareness can increase the risk of balance problems and falls. Join Erin for an informative and interactive workshop that explores the three key systems responsible for balance and how aging impacts each of them. Learn how Pilates can improve core strength, posture, proprioception, flexibility, and movement confidence to help reduce fall risk and maintain independence.

This workshop will combine an educational presentation with a practical mat-based Pilates session focused on balance strategies, floor transfers, and functional exercises you can safely incorporate into daily life. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how balance works, why falls occur, and simple, effective techniques to improve stability and promote healthy aging.
